It’s Not About the Engine You Use. It’s About What You’re Building

Unreal. Unity. Godot. RPG Maker. Heck, Twine. They’re all just tools.

The real question is: what are you using it for?

You don’t need Unreal’s nanite rendering for a pixel game. Unity’s prefab system won’t help if your core loop is broken. Tool choice follows vision—not the other way around.

So pick your engine like you’d pick a pencil: for the shape you want to draw, not the brand on the side.
